I was the world’s least sexy sixteen-year-old. So this book, for those of JulyApparently I have a thing about this book and summer!! To get the free app, enter your mobile phone number.
So, Major Crush begins with Virginia dropping out of the beauty pageant circuit and joining the marching band. The story also manages to capture that trademark band humor. A photographic cover might have helped me take it more seriously, because I caught some interesting You know how bookstores rip the cover off unsold paperbacks before they throw them away?
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Customers who bought this item also bought. There’s a problem loading this menu right now. Jennicer may actually be my favorite Echols character ever — but I still love you, Adam Vader!
Can Virginia and Drew both pull it together for the sake of the band? Where do I start with this amazingly written book? Virginia is one heck of a girl. Not really 3D hennifer not a cardboard one either.
I thought the story line was great!
The moral of my story: So she desperately gets Walter to kiss her. She knows how to hold her own against Drew and the raging… erm, witches… at her school. She was a lot more threatening dresses in her majorette leotard than I was dresses like a boy. Bringing couples together and winning contests. It’ll cheer you uo and make you feel all giddy and happy again. Drew and Virginia are utterly adorable and as the story progresses things really start to hot up between the two of them.
She doesn’t have many friends, but she still ties for drum major with hottie Drew.
Review: Major Crush by Jennifer Echols | Teen Book Review
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. I have to say that this is one of the best, not to mention funniest, young adult romance stories I’ve read this year. There’s echools “the one” or freakin soul mate or whatever you call it. This complicates things with them once they are a couple. Maybe he had to leave because you convinced him to count the votes in your favor, if you know what I mean.
That is, until they share more than just their half-time salute I began to really hate the main character Virginia, hated that name to. She’s such a “spunky” person and I love how forward she can be and her attitude in life.
Now I was pissed with the band with Sesshoumaru, instead of mortified at myself for being such a bad drum major on my first try. I could be nice and just enjoy it while we were in public, and then explain that I wasn’t interested when we were alone. Unfortunately, my fatigue won the battle against my desire to read, and I had a few chapters to read the next morning.
Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Tonight they crowded the stadium for the first game of the season.
Never have I wanted that more since reading Major Crush. This was my second Jennifer Echols book this week. That was the fastest I have ever seen him read any book.
Virginia seems to be keeping kajor few secrets of her own, like why she dropped out of pageantry. Quick, sweet, another Echols book. D The only major problem I had with this book is that, well it’s a young adult novel She didn’t expect to win or to share the glory with last year’s drum major, Drew. Forced to play nice with each other, sparks fly and they discover that jfnnifer more to the other person than meets the eye. I look forward to reading more stories from this author.
It doesn’t help that their first show was a complete disaster.
