After two years, I’ve found few circuits that couldn’t be easily, quickly and securely accessed with just the components in this set. The exception was larger contacts in old equipment, which were easily addressed by adding these: Everything in this kit is useful and very well designed; there’s no flk287 or flume, and it alone is sufficient for almost everything I use a meter for.
Tluke silicone leads seemed unnecessary for my non-extreme environment, but their flexibility makes an amazing difference in their ability to access and stay attached to difficult connection points.

And, unlike PVC leads, they are not likely to stiffen with age. The top pocket, which holds the relatively-small test probe adapters for the 4-ft leads, has a Velcro closure, as does the case flap.
It is compact and sized for this set, with no room for additions. Nothing with Fluke’s name on it is cheap, but compared to purchasing the contents of this set individually it is a bargain. It is also something to talk your wife into buying you for a wedding anniversary when thirty years worth of assorted multi meter test leads, clamps, probes, and adapters suddenly decide to disappear out of the back of your truck.

Fortunately, my Fluke meter was not in the tool box in the back of my truck when it decided to grow legs. The right angle on one end test leads are 60 inches, silicone insulated, and very flexible. In fact everything including the case is up to Flukes high quality standards. The case is a good quality polyester, and has a Velcro secured divider that allows me to separate my DMM. The case it ships with is different than pictured.
The Fluke logo on the case I received looks like the C carrying case pictured here: The feel and usability of the leads and clamps is worth the price. They feel like the quality you would expect from Fluke and perform wonderfully. The camps are firm and have a solid bite for a good connection. My only complaint is on my TP, the guard does not have as strong of a locking mechanism on the black lead as it does on the red and as such it is more prone to rotating and retracting.
To get the most use of a meter and avoid frustration and accidents a good set of probes is needed. This is a great package to cover a very wide set of circumstances and application areas. The options available in this one kit handle almost everything you would want.
One probably already has regular alligator clip probe attachments that came with their meter or purchased separately so it’s probably good they are not duplicated here to keep the price reasonable. You might not need something like the lug connectors very often, but boy when you need them are they ever great. With the regular probes with some attachementsand a separate set of completely modular leads and attachements, one can keep a couple common configurations quickly available even if it means changing leads rather than just connectors.
I don’t how the case will hold up, but it seems fine to me given the price, I’m very glad they included it. The case itself has a good velcro closure. I don’t know why I didn’t buy these sooner, they have already save me a ton of frustration. I run them out of a Klein MM Multimeter, so they cost me about three times what the meter did, but they’re worth it.
Really long leads, they’re almost twice as long as a standard lead set. You start to realize the usefulness of this when vluke can set your meter in a cockpit and run the other end out to the engine. Interchangeable heads are great! Very flexible and untangle quickly. Things I don’t like: The price, but after using it a few times, I forgot all about the price.
